Common Surface Treatments:
- Anodizing: An electrochemical process that enhances corrosion resistance and surface durability, providing a uniform, aesthetic finish.
- Powder Coating: A dry finishing process that applies a decorative and protective layer, improving durability and resistance to harsh environments.
- Polishing: A finishing technique that creates a smooth, glossy surface, enhancing the visual appeal of the material.
- Hard Anodizing (20um+): A thicker, more durable anodized finish, typically used for industrial and high-performance applications, offering excellent wear resistance.
Quality Control Process:
The quality process involves several stages, including dimensional inspection, thermal conductivity testing, and surface quality checks. Dimensional accuracy is verified using CNC measuring machines and 3D projectors, ensuring the heat sink’s dimensions are precise and within tolerance limits. Thermal conductivity is tested using thermal conductivity testers to ensure efficient heat dissipation. Additionally, the surface quality is inspected for defects such as scratches or imperfections, using visual inspection and surface roughness testers. To further ensure durability, fatigue testing is conducted to simulate long-term usage, and high-speed impact testers are employed to evaluate the mechanical strength of the material. Throughout the process, automated inspection equipment and a qualified QC team work together to maintain consistent quality and ensure the heat sinks perform optimally in their applications.
