Production Process:

  1. Material Selection: High-conductivity materials, typically aluminum or copper, are selected based on thermal management requirements.
  2. Cutting: The chosen material is cut to the required size and shape, often using laser cutting or CNC machining to achieve precise dimensions.
  3. Forming: Depending on the design, the heat sink is shaped through processes such as extrusion, die-casting, stamping, or forging to create the required fin structure for effective heat dissipation.
  4. Surface Treatment: To enhance heat dissipation and protect against corrosion, the heat sink undergoes surface treatments such as anodizing or plating.
  5. Assembly and Finishing: If the heat sink design includes multiple parts, they are assembled, followed by deburring, polishing, or coating as necessary to improve performance and aesthetics.
  6. Quality Control: Rigorous testing is conducted to ensure the heat sink meets thermal conductivity, dimensional accuracy, and durability standards.
  7. Packaging and Shipping: Once approved, the heat sinks are carefully packaged and prepared for distribution, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition.

Surface Treatment for Heat Sink:

  1. Powder Coating: A durable, protective layer is applied to the heat sink using electrostatic powder, enhancing corrosion resistance and improving aesthetics.
  2. Sand Blasting: This process roughens the surface, creating a uniform texture that increases surface area for better heat dissipation and improves adhesion for subsequent coatings.
  3. Painting: A layer of paint is applied to provide additional protection against environmental factors and improve the heat sink’s appearance.
  4. Mill Finish: The heat sink retains its natural metallic finish after machining, without additional treatment, providing a clean, polished look.

Each treatment enhances the heat sink’s durability and thermal performance while offering customization options for appearance and functionality.
