Visão Geral:
Male and female metal terminals are crucial components in electrical systems, providing secure connections between wires and other parts of the system. These terminals typically come in paired sets—male terminals with protruding pins and female terminals with corresponding sockets to receive those pins. The connection process often involves crimping or soldering the terminal to the wire, with crimping being the most common method. In crimping, a tool is used to compress the terminal onto the stripped wire, ensuring a strong and reliable electrical connection. Male and female metal terminals are widely used in various applications, including automotive, industrial machinery, and consumer electronics, where they offer secure, easy-to-assemble connections for both power transmission and signal integrity.

Quality Test Process:
Our quality testing process for male and female metal terminals utilizes a range of advanced precision measurement tools to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and performance. We employ Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for precise dimensional analysis, along with Digital Height Gauges and Calipers for fine measurements. Additionally, we use projectors to inspect part geometry, Roughness Testers to assess surface quality, and Hardness Testers to verify material strength. This comprehensive approach ensures each terminal meets strict quality and functionality requirements before it reaches the customer.
Processo de Produção:
- Tooling Design and Setup: The process begins with the design and fabrication of progressive dies, which are used to shape the metal into the required terminal form. These dies are carefully engineered to allow multiple operations in one pass, such as cutting, punching, and bending.
- Material Selection: The appropriate material, typically copper, brass, or stainless steel, is selected based on the terminal’s intended application. The material is fed into the stamping press.
- Progressive Stamping: The metal strip is fed into the progressive die, where it undergoes a series of operations in each station of the die. This could include cutting, punching, bending, and shaping, which are performed in a single pass through the machine.
- Component Forming: As the material moves through the die, it is progressively formed into the desired shape of the male or female terminal. At this stage, the basic form of the terminal, including holes for connections, is established.
- Secondary Operations: After the initial stamping, secondary operations such as threading, deburring, and additional bending may be performed to refine the terminal shape and prepare it for further use.
- Surface Finishing: To improve corrosion resistance and functionality, surface treatments such as plating, anodizing, or powder coating are applied to the terminals. This ensures durability and enhances conductivity for electrical connections.
- Inspection and Quality Control: The terminals are then subjected to rigorous quality control checks. Tools like Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), calipers, and visual inspections are used to ensure the terminals meet strict dimensional and functional specifications.
- Packaging: Once approved, the stamped male and female metal terminals are packaged according to customer specifications, ready for delivery.
